Arianna GiuliodoriFirst Deputy Minister of Agriculture Dzhambulat Hatuov on March 22 discussed with the Secretary General of the World Organization of Farmers Arianna Giuliodori the process of preparation for the VII General Assembly.

This year’s annual event will be held in Moscow from 28 to 30 May. It is expected that the assembly will bring together about 500 participants from 100 countries of the world. The Secretary General also noted the important role of establishing contacts between farmers from different countries.

The president of the Association of Peasant Farms and Agricultural Cooperatives Vladimir Plotnikov reported on the active participation of the organization in the preparation for one of the largest agrarian events of the international level.

In the program of the Assembly it is planned to visit the advanced Russian farms.

The General Assembly of the World Organization of Farmers is held annually since 2012. An international agricultural event has already been held in Italy, Japan, Argentina, Zambia and Finland.
